It is common for many of us to feel unsafe at times when we are out in public. The prospect of becoming involved in a violent incident or crime are very real. The worst part is feeling helpless and out of control but Pro Mai aims to put you back in control.
assess, control and avoid potentially violent situations before they control you
Through training you will learn to understand the elements of a confrontation and begin to assess, control and avoid potentially violent situations before they control you. Although a lot of time is dedicated to the physical responses required to deal with a threat effectively, Pro Mai also places high emphasis on what we call ‘Pre Defence’. Pre Defence refers to the all the actions that we can use to protect ourselves before an assailant strikes. By making early and accurate assessments of a threat we can prepare ourselves mentally and physically for any action that needs to be taken and stay one step ahead of the game.
By training in Pro Mai you will feel more prepared, more confident and ultimately you will be safer when you are walking the streets.
