We had the fantastic news on Friday that the new venue for PRO MAI in the UK has been given the go ahead by the local council, this means that we can officially confirm that we will be planning the opening of our first full time UK MMA and Self Defence facility over the coming weeks. There are still many details to work out but here’s just some of the elements that we’ve been considering/planning:
- Fully matted and covered floor and walls
- Octagon corners built into the back wall
- Big screen TV with Sky Subscription for watching UFC events
- Full PRO MAI branding both inside and outside the academy
- Permanent store for all equipment – punch bags, grappling dummies, shields, pads, head guards etc.
- Approx 10 different classes on offer a week
- Special weekend events – Masterclasses, Seminars, open mat sessions, Assessments etc.
