It’s the end of the year awards time!
Here is your chance to cast your vote on who you think is the most impressive student of the year in the following categories:
Training Partner Of The Year
Who’s the person that you most enjoy training with? The person that when you train with them you always have a great session.
Nightmare Of The Year!
This is actually a compliment! Who’s the person that when you pair up with them you know that you’re going to have to bring your A game to even survive and get through the round?
Newcomer Of The Year
We’re looking for someone that has only started training in the last 12 months (don’t worry too much if you don’t know for sure). Who do you think is the most impressive student that has only just begun their MMA journey?
Most Improved Of The Year
This person may have already been training for a long time but who’s the person that you believe has made the most progress in 2017? Who’s really stepped up their game and is significantly better than they were earlier in the year?
Best Striker Of The Year
Who’s impressed you the most with their striking skills this year?
Best Grappler Of The Year
Who’s impressed you the most with their wrestling and submissions this year?
VOTE IN THE 2017 PRO MAI AWARDS
Even if you only want to vote on one category and skip the rest it’s absolutely fine. There will also be an overall student of the year voted on by myself and the other coaches.
The results of the awards will be combined with one big ‘end of the year session’ next Thursday the 21st. That session will run from 7-9pm and all are welcome. After the session we will go grab a few drinks.
This won’t be the final session of the year, it’s just the official wrap up for the year.
